Im using photoshop, if you have it, they are the little black magnifying tool (which is called dodge tool- the highlighter), and the little hand that looks like its pinching someone is the burn tool. but if its any other program then i dont know lol. :P

but on my next tutorial ill have better screen shots, this was just my basic way when im doing it fast lol.
